Welcome!
I'm Father Ian Montgomery, Vicar of the Church of Saint Michael and Saint George and I'm thrilled you have you have found your way to our digital front door. We are a brand new Mission of the Anglican Church in America, Diocese of the Northeast. It's like the Episcopal Church (in which I was ordained in 1998) in many ways and distinct from it in some important ways ... which I think you will like.
At Saints Michael and George, we are dedicated to the Worship of God in the person of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the most traditional ways handed down through the ages by the Church in England and in the American Colonies. We have stepped away from the political and secular that have taken over much of mainstream Christianity and have gone back to basics.
Our mission embraces traditional worship practices that foster a deep connection to the Christian faith and community and favours the analogue over the digital - a welcome respite in a screen-heave world. Though we offer convenient inter-personal virtual opportunities as well. We do live in the 21st Century after all!
We welcome All - as Christ did and does. Even me. Especially you. Wherever you are in your journey in...or toward- Faith.
Come and see.!
