Blessing of Vessels and Vestments, and
Mass in the Presence of A Bishop
(Holy Communion)
Featuring the Music of Stanford (Mass in B Flat, Elgar(Ave Verum Corpus) , and Mendelssohn (O Ye that thirsteth) and all the favourite Michaelmas Hymns
All in about 60 Minutes!
Bishop Marsh will preside over the Opening of the Church, The Vicar will Celebrate and Preach
Reception to follow in Fellowship Hall in Undercroft of Church
The Rt Rev'd Brian Marsh
Bishop Marsh, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of the Northeast and Sometime Presiding Bishop of the Anglican Church in America will be with us representing The Rt Rev'd Alexander "Hendy" Webb who is unable to be with us - but will be joining us for the first time on December 7th!
Bishop Marsh is an old Seminary friend of Father Montgomery and they serve as chaplains of various societies together in New England and nationally. He is also no stranger to the Upper East Side, having served at the Church of the Heavenly Rest during his Seminary years.
